Who I am

This website is run by Princess Carminati, an independent Insurance Broker in Miami, licensed in Florida (License G339761). In this policy, "I", "me" and "my" mean Princess Carminati.

This policy explains what personal information I collect through this website and when you contact me, how I use it, who I share it with, and the choices you have.

What I collect

When you use the contact form: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, preferred language, which kind of client you are, what cover you're interested in, your city or location, how you'd like to be contacted, your message and your consent to be contacted.

If you choose to fill in the optional quote section, also: your date of birth, sex, nationality, country of residence, ZIP code, tobacco use, height and weight, who needs cover and their ages, your current cover, the cover you'd like, and income and savings figures you give me. I use these only to get quotes for you.

When you message me on WhatsApp, call me or email me: your contact details and whatever you choose to send.

When you visit the site: the company that hosts it and the service that supplies its fonts automatically receive technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies.

Please don't send medical history through the contact form. If a quote needs more health information, I'll ask for it directly, and only what the carrier needs.

How I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
• To compare cover and get quotes from insurance carriers.
• To apply for cover on your behalf, when you ask me to.
• To look after your policy afterwards, including renewals, changes and claims.
• To meet my legal and regulatory duties as a licensed insurance agent.
• With your consent, to contact you by phone, text, WhatsApp or email about your enquiry.

Who I share it with

• Insurance carriers and their representatives, when you ask for a quote or apply for cover.
• Service providers who help me run my business: Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the contact form; Google, which provides my email; and WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta.
• Regulators, courts or law enforcement, when the law requires it.
• I don't sell or rent your personal information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Calls, texts and WhatsApp

I'll only contact you in the ways you've agreed to. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, or ask me at any time to stop calling or messaging you. Message and data rates may apply.

How long I keep it

I keep your information for as long as I need it to deal with your enquiry and any policy you take out, and for as long as insurance record keeping rules require. After that, I delete it or keep it only in a form that doesn't identify you.

How I protect it

I take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and limit who can see it. No website or messaging service is completely secure, so please don't send more than you need to.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. I'll do so unless I have to keep it by law. Email hello@princesscarminati.com and I'll reply promptly.

If you become a client

When you buy a policy, you'll also receive the privacy notices that insurance law requires, from me and from the carrier you choose. Those notices explain how your policy information is handled.

Children

This website isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Visitors outside the US

I'm based in Florida and my service providers store information in the United States. If you contact me from another country, your information will be handled in the United States.

Changes to this policy

I'll update this page if anything changes, and the date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
